i found it kind of hilarious (in my defense ive only sat down and watched chapters 1 & 2) but his little accent and his THIS IS RUBBISH. So rubbish in fact i had a hair cut in the time it too to read this chapter. i might die.

in other news. my computer attempted to die last night, in midst of death throes this morning ive been copying everything onto externals in hope that if it does pass on i wont feel the need for suicide. So yeah, in the market, high pitched squealing noises from the harddrive make me want to take a hammer to it. I think its mostly over heating. But really? I DONT KNOW

-christmas was good. i love that my mother gets me books and i give her books back. we are such nerds. (i just realise that that looks like i get her present and return to sender it. i meant we both gift each other presents that happen to be books)

-Brothers in Battle, Best of Friends is an awesome book.

-i love when hughes 'escapes' solitary to 'Huru'. It my favourite bit such much. /OZ fangirling

-Easy Company Soldier is good so far. Im only maybe hundred pages in. but reading malarkey's fangirling over Skip and Toye (shut up you know he totally does) is v. awesome, and sweet and OH MY GOD I DONT WANT TO READ WHAT HAPPENS IN BASTOGNE! /prepares for sobbing.
(i need to pick it back up and finish reading it but its really hot and im spending today collapsed on various furniture hand over eyes ala the twenties)

-my love affair with kirk acevedo has gotten a little stupid. I am okay with this. Also i love that whilst watching any of his shows i dont actually associate any of the characters he plays with the other ones. (for example when i watch donellys i dont go OMG ALVAREZ/TOYE/CHARLIE/ETC !) which is awesome and i shall now sing praises in the direction of his acting abilities.
(that being said and fangirled i am totally getting a hold of Law and Order TBJ for shoulder-holster-wearing-Avocado and hopefully getting fringe season 2 for the same reason. goddammit. i seem to recall telling myself i would settle down on the actor!stalking .. .. fuck)

-Finished watching The Black Donnellys. My favourite characters were Nicky, The guy that follows him around and Joey IceCream. (this is sad, because ages ago when i watched the pilot i loved Tommy, but now i kind of just want to throttle him - and all his brothers >_> ) Nicky is awesome ; he spends his time with unsanctioned violence, gleefully watching exotic dancers, plotting to kill pretty much anyone that talks to him, sharing meaningful looks with GuyThatFollowsHim and being hit over the head with a shovel.
how could i not love him?

Sadly. (and despite the fact that i spend an abominable amounr of time on the internet.) i dont really surf it.

I HAVE NO MORE. other than, like livejournal. which i presume, since youre reading this, you may have visited before.

Im not really a recipe sort of person.
so i'll give you the recipe for white sauce, which is awesome. and versatile, yo.
first melt a tablespoon of butter in a saucepan,
then add some cornflour so its gooey +salt&pepper, then back on the heat and stir until runny and bubbling a bit.
then add a cup (or so) of milk and continuously stir that bitch until its as thick as you want it. (dont try and heat it up too quick or it gets all gloopy an dlumpy)

TADA!

also, add macaroni & grated cheese to = Mac&cheese
or add rice & tuna & lemon juice to = tuna mornay (mornet? - i dunno)
my main two dishes that i cook at home. (its good because it makes a fair bit, it keeps well in the fridge and tastes o when reheated)

umm. i draw a little, but its not really talenty. Umm. Umm. Im good at creating random storylines/scenarios. Some of them are quite interesting.

(my other talents include watching an improbable amount of tv, being able to spend my paycheck without blinking, being distracted by the internet, a really juvenile sense of humour, reading & obsessing over fictional characters.)
